Owain logged this tube in our yard for a year, filled one way and then the other. Pick a fill to see who came, and how often.
Striped seed: finches and tits at the ports, chaffinches on the tray. Expect husk on the ground below.
Plate IIIIn the box
Packed in a recycled card sleeve with paper string, no plastic. Every part is sold separately if one goes missing.
6pieces in the sleeve, no tools neededNotesAbout this tube
About two metres from a hedge or tree, so birds have cover to dart into but cats have nowhere to wait. Out of full afternoon sun keeps the seed fresh.
Hearts, striped sunflower and seed mixes all flow through the ports. For nyjer, ask for the fine-port insert when you order; it is free.
Twist the tray a quarter turn and lift the lid. The perches pull straight out. Nothing needs a screwdriver.
Write to us with the order number and we post a replacement free, for as long as we make the tube.
